# Umbral Gaze's Timeline

There are some differences between the WotC version of the Forgotten Realms presented in fifth-edition Dungeons and Dragons material--- particularly around the 1480s DR--- and the version of Umbral Gaze. Some of the most significant differences are listed below in no particular order.

- In WotC, the second sundering returned Lantan to Toril; not so in UG. Lantan remains on Abeir.
- In WotC, Chondath and the Chondalwood were flooded by the late 15th century DR; not so in UG.
